Born on December 25, 1954, Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera is a Mexican drug lord and the head of Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal organization famous around Mexico. Guzman is better known as ‘El Chapo Guzman’ for his 1.68 m stature and is a top drug kingpin in the 2000s after his rival Osiel Cardenas was arrested. Guzman is the ‘most powerful drug trafficker in the world’ according to the US Department of Treasury and has had success in escaping jail for several times.
