Jared Fogle was born on the 1st of December 1977. He was born to Adrienne and Norman Fogle in Indianapolis, Indiana. The former Subway spokesperson was raised in a Jewish home, on Jewish principles.

He graduated from North Central High School, in 1995, and later in 2000, Fogle graduated from Indiana University and then went on to work for American Trans Air in the revenue management department.

Fogle became a part of a child pornography accusation and several investigations were filed against him in 2015.

His child pornography interests began drawing the attention of law enforcement as far back as 2008 when a reporter – Rochelle Herman Walron – reported to the Florida police that Fogle had made lewd comments to her about middle school girls at a school event.

After the police, she took her reports to the FBI where they asked her to wear a wiretap during her conversation with Fogle. She would spend the next four years befriending Fogle and gathering evidence against him.

Together with the investigation against Rusell Taylor, the authorities had enough to conduct a raid on Fogle’s residence on the 7th of July 2015. Russell Taylor was the former director of Jared Fogle’s charitable foundation aimed at combating childhood obesity.

During the course of the investigation, more incriminating evidence mounted against Jared Fogle leading him to take a plea deal. After his arrest, Subway removed all of Fogle’s name and images from the website, before publicly announcing that they had decided to end their business relationship with him.

On the 19th of August, 2015, Jared Fogle pled guilty to one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor. Fogle agreed to pay restitution as well: $100,000 to each victim, which led to a total of $1.4 million.

Jared Fogle arrived at the Henderson County, Kentucky Detention Center on the 21st of November 2015 where he was held temporarily before being transferred to the Federal Transfer Center, Oklahoma City, on December 15, 2015. On the 18th of December, he was transferred again to FCI Englewood.
