Born on January 19, 1992 in Beverly Hills, California, Logan Lerman had an avid interest in acting from a young age. Knowing his passion for acting his mother Lisa who is also his manager booked him for television commercials when he was four. Lerman made his first big screen appearance in 2000 in the historical fiction war movie The Patriot as William Martin, the youngest son of  French and Indian war veteran Benjamin Martin played by Mel Gibson. Also released in the same year was another movie What Women Want where Lerman was cast as child character for Mel Gibson’s role. In 2001 Lerman starred as a son of Drew Barrymore’s character in the movie Riding in Cars with Boys.

Logan Lerman emerged as a promising actor with the portrayal of Luke Chandler in the film adaptation of John Grisham’s novel A Painted House in 2003. He was highly praised for his performance and was awarded the Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Leading Young Actor in a television production in 2004. 

Lerman continued to his impress his fans with his appearance in the movie The Butterfly Effect where he played the child version of Ashton Kutcher’s character Evan Treborn. Logan Lerman’s next major role was in WB television series Jack & Bobby. He was casted as Bobby; an extremely intelligent boy who is predicted to become the U.S. President. Though the show was casted only for one season it earned Lerman Young Artist Award for the second time.

Logan Lerman’s another major role was in adventurous movie Hoot in 2006 where he acted as Roy Eberhardt, a child trying to save endangered owls. Released on May 5, 2006 the film grossed $8,224,998 worldwide.  Despite receiving mixed critical reviews, Lerman was once again awarded with Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature FilmLeading Young Actor in 2007 for his performance in the movie. He then appeared in the thriller The Number 23 where he portrayed as Jim Carrey’s son. He performed as William Evans in 3:10 to Yuma in 2007 which was one of the most critically acclaimed movie.  He subsequently appeared in comedy movies Meet Bill and My One and Only and science fiction movie Gamer.

The teen star became a household name after he was cast as Percy Jackson in the film adaptation of novel The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief in 2009. The movie was a huge box office success earning $226,497,209 worldwide.  His next appearance was in  the 3D movie The Three Musketeers as d’Artagnan in 2011. He was casted in the movie without audition as was acquainted with the story for it was the book his paternal grandfather brought with him when he fled from Nazis in 1930s from Europe.

In 2011, Lerman co-starred with Emma Watson in the film adaptation of Stephen Chbosky‘s novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower  which was released in September 2012 and was commercially successful grossing over $33 million worldwide. The movie earned him another Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actor: Drama.

Lerman again reprised his role as Percy Jackson in the second series of the movie Sea of Monsters which was released in August 2013. In 2014 Lerman was casted as Ham , the son of Noah, in the motion picture Noah based on the story of Noah’s Ark in Bible. The movie was another blockbuster success that saw the star rise up to a greater fame.

Logan Lerman is believed to be in a relationship with Amy Vaver since 2012 after breaking up with Alexandra Daddario. He is also said to have been involved in a short term relationship with Zoe Aggeliki.
