Born Timothy Henry Henman in September 1974, Tim Henman’s father was involved in several sports like tennis, hockey and squash while his mother played Junior Wimbeldon. Born in a family of tennis players, Henman’s great grandfather and grandmother, maternal-grandfather and grandmother also played Wimbeldon and were prominent figures in the game. With tennis inspirations all around him, Henman started playing tennis at the age of three and was a champion in High School.
