Tyler was born on 6 March, 1991 in Los Angeles California. Tyler had an interest in music since he was seven years old and he would take the covers out of old albums and draw imaginary titles and songs on them. When he turned 14, he learned to play piano by himself.

Tyler released his first album, ‘Bastard’, in December, 2009. That album was 32nd on Pitchfork Media list. In February, 2011, Tyler released his famous music video, ‘Yonkers’, which was the first song of his second album, ‘Goblin’. This video captured the attention of many media outlets and later, Tyler announced that he signed a one-album contract with XL Recordings. In the same month, of February, 2011, Tyler and Hodgy Beats appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and performed ‘Sandwitches’, which is a single from Tyler’s album, ‘Goblin’.

In early 2010, Tyler hinted his fans about an album called ‘Wolf’. He said that he will release this album in 2012. The album, ‘Wolf’ released in April, 2013. This album contains the music and instruments, Tyler has been making since he was 15 years old. Tyler himself said that this album would be more about beats than rapping. In early 2011 Odd Future, announced that Tyler will get his own show named ‘Loiter Squad’. This show premiered in March, 2012. Tyler had a lot of contribution in this show. He directed many music videos for the show, acted in two roles and also worked as a graphic artist.

Tyler is also the leader of hip hop collective OFWGKTA. In February, 2013 Tyler announced his album release trough OFWGKTA You Tube account. On the same day, Tyler revealed three covers of the album and also first single of the ‘Wolf’, namec’Domo23’ was released on that day. Tyler’s fourth album, ‘Cherry Bomb’ was released in April, 2015 under his own music label, Odd Future Records.

In August, 2015, Tyler revealed that he is banned to visit UK for 3 to 5 years. This ban, forced him to cancel a lot of tours throughout the UK to promote ‘Cherry Bomb’ album.
